Artist’s Statement

I come from a long line of artists and cannot remember a time when I was not clutching a paintbrush or pencil within my hand so that I might share with others how I see the world around me. In fact, I can not imagine my life without art; it would be like living a life without laughter.

Art is my passion and another form of self expression. Specializing in Trompe l’Oeil and Murals enables me to share my talent with clients so that they too can communicate their feelings through art. A well placed Trompe l’Oeil or Mural can create more than just a design statement; it can create a sense of separation in larger rooms and open floor plans, or provide the feeling of more light and space. My professionalism and attention to detail enables me to create a unique piece that meets my clients' needs both artistically and architecturally. I am drawn to the flexibility of this art form, and thrive on the realistic nature of the work.

My goal is not to merely alter a client’s decor, but to provide them with a high quality piece of fine art.

I am proficient in many mediums. I predominantly use professional grade acrylics for their vibrant color pallet, low odor, and quick drying time. My versatility allows me to paint on nearly any interior or exterior surface, and my Movable Murals provide even more design flexibility for my clients.

Having been educated in the Fine Arts in England, UK, my art is heavily influenced by the European Masters. My extensive travels over the years allows me to explore other cultures approach to art, which is extremely beneficial to my work, as I am constantly striving to employ new methods and innovative ideas. Keeping up to date on both art and home fashion trends is important to me, as I wish to offer my clients the highest quality of design, coupled with a fresh approach to the long tradition of Mural and Trompe L’Oeil painting.
